God of War Laufey

February 16, 2027
God of War: Laufey is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Santa Monica Studio for PlayStation 5. The game follows Laufey, also known as Faye, after she awakens in a strange afterlife realm following her death. To protect Kratos and Atreus, she travels through the Everywhen, an afterlife of the gods where deities from different mythologies compete for power. The game shifts the focus from Kratos to Faye and features sword-based combat, magic, and new supporting characters.

Rules

Resolves Yes if God of War Laufey is released on the scheduled date shown above, on at least one confirmed platform. Resolves No if the release date changes to an earlier or later date — this includes an official delay announcement, which resolves the prediction immediately rather than waiting for the original date to pass. "Released" means publicly available for purchase or download; early access, betas, demos, and regional-only or leaked copies do not count. Resolution is based on IGDB's tracked release date, cross-checked against official publisher/developer statements and credible reporting when they disagree with IGDB. Betting closes 1 day before release.
