Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to slyfox.bet and the related Sly Fox services we operate (together, the “Service”). It applies to visitors, waitlist members, and registered players. It does not govern third-party websites, services, or information sources that we do not control, even when the Service links to or uses information from them.

Information We Collect

Account and profile information

We collect your email address, username, optional display name, and avatar color. We also maintain account status, account creation and update dates, sign-in-related records, and settings needed to provide and protect your account.

Gameplay information

We record bets, selected outcomes, Coins wagered, potential payouts, final results, refunds, Coin balances, bonuses, position history, leaderboard statistics, and timestamps connected to gameplay.

Access and referral information

We process invite codes, referrals, and waitlist information, including a waitlist email address, who issued or used a code, code status, expiration dates, and rewards connected to a referral.

Technical and security information

Our systems and infrastructure providers may process an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, request times, authentication events, error information, and operational or security logs needed to deliver, troubleshoot, and protect the Service.

Communications

If you contact us, we receive the information in your message and the details needed to respond. We also keep records of operational emails such as account or invitation messages.

How We Collect Information

Directly from you when you join the waitlist, create or update an account, place a bet, use an invite, or contact us.
Automatically when your browser or device communicates with the Service, including through essential cookies and server logs.
From service providers that help us authenticate users, host the Service, store data, deliver email, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors.

Supabase processes your password and authentication credentials to create sessions and secure your account, and also provides database infrastructure. We do not store or have access to your password in readable form.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

Create, authenticate, maintain, and secure player accounts.
Accept bets, calculate and display possible winnings, resolve predictions, issue payouts or refunds, and maintain Coin balances.
Display public gameplay, player profiles, position activity, and leaderboards.
Operate invitations, referrals, waitlist access, and related rewards.
Prevent fraud, cheating, manipulation, unauthorized access, and violations of our Terms.
Troubleshoot errors, monitor reliability, improve features, and understand how the Service is used.
Communicate with you about your account, support requests, important Service changes, and legal or security notices.
Comply with applicable law, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims.

What Other Players Can See

Your username, avatar presentation, public betting activity, prediction results, and leaderboard placement may be visible to other players and, where a page is publicly accessible, to anyone who visits it. Do not put sensitive personal information in your username or public profile fields.Your email address and authentication information are not public. Administrative and security records, private account settings, and unpublished account details are also not shown to ordinary players.

We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:

Public features. We display the player and gameplay information described above as part of the prediction game.
Hosting. Vercel hosts and delivers the website and may process network, request, and operational information.
Email delivery. Resend processes recipient addresses and message details when it sends invitation or operational email for us.
Legal and safety needs. We may disclose information to comply with law or legal process, investigate abuse, protect people, or defend rights and the Service.
Business changes. Information may be transferred as part of a financing, reorganization, merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of the Service, subject to applicable law.
With your direction or consent. We may share information when you ask us to or clearly authorize it.

We do not sell your private personal information. We also do not disclose private account information to advertisers for targeted advertising.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Sly Fox uses essential cookies and similar browser storage to create secure sessions, keep you signed in, remember necessary state, and protect the Service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies through your browser, but authentication and other core features may stop working correctly.

Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain account information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, maintain game integrity, enforce our Terms, resolve disputes, protect security, and comply with applicable obligations. Different records may have different retention periods.When you request account deletion, your account is deactivated immediately and enters a 30-day grace period. After that period, personal profile identifiers such as your username, email address, display name, and avatar details are anonymized, and the profile is presented as a deleted player.Historical bets, results, and the account ledger may be retained in de-identified form so that settled predictions, player statistics, fraud controls, and accounting records remain internally consistent. Security, audit, legal, and backup records may also remain for a limited period when reasonably required, after which they are deleted or overwritten according to applicable retention practices.

Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including access controls, authenticated sessions, restricted administrative functions, and service providers designed for secure hosting and storage. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use a unique password and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Account settings let you review and update supported profile fields, change account credentials, and request deletion. You may also contact us to ask a privacy question or request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.Depending on where you live, privacy law may provide additional rights or exceptions. We will evaluate verified requests under the law that applies to the request and will not discriminate against you for exercising a protected privacy right.

Children's Privacy

Sly Fox is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If we learn that an underage child provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to remove it. Players under the age of legal majority should use the Service only with permission and supervision from a parent or guardian.

Third-Party Links and Data

The Service may link to outside websites or display game, event, release, review, and announcement data obtained from outside sources such as IGDB, OpenCritic, publishers, developers, and public reporting. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and this Policy does not cover services we do not control.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Service, our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will post the revised Policy and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we handle personal information, we will provide additional notice when reasonably practical.
